The Titanic was the worlds largest and fastest ocean liner of its time. It was known for its design and grace with its famous claim of it being unsinkable. This claim would not stand the flow of time, for five days after the Titanic left the harbor of Southampton, England, the unsinkable ship sank to the bottom of the sea. The Titanic contained near 2,200 people on the day of the wreck. Only 700 or so survived. For the century, people have been trying to find out what happened on that unfortunate night. After years of study on the ship's design, construction process and at sea accidents, we have finally found what happened to the unsinkable ship known as the Titanic. This ship sank because of a series of events that changed the Titanic's chance of survival at sea. It was a perfect storm.
