On April 12, 1912, the infamous “unsinkable ship” sank. She was the biggest and fastest cruise ship of her time, being able to hold exactly 1,317 passengers on board. The titanic was manufactured in Belfast, Ireland. The maiden voyage was supposed to go from Southampton to New York City, but obviously that didn’t happen. The Titanic hit the Ice Berg at 11:40 pm and officially sank at 2:20am. A total of 1,503 people died on the titanic, that including passengers and staff. The person in charge of this titanic was Captain Edward John Smith, the best captain of his time.
